Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of the television. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas to study the field of physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas only a short time before she moved to Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of roles in acting, such as local independent films and commercials. In spite of the minor parts, she realized that acting was her love. She then moved into New York in 2001 and she got her first job in acting in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. She had minor roles on JAG The Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004, she was offered her first role in a major series in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. Her character was later seen on the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards for her character, such as Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominated. She received the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding performance for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza, in an recurring role on CSI Miami was announced a moment or two later. She portrayed Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio Caine's wife. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared on the NBC's dark and tense drama Do No Harm. The show was canceled after just two episodes. Milano. Her older twin brother Cory is 10 years younger than her. Her family was a very traditional and spiritual one. Milano was only seven years old old when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. Out of more than a thousand applicants her name was picked among only four.
